OpenLearn course

An eight-week free online training course, hosted on OpenLearn and comprising of eight distinct subjects, which is offered as part of the ‘ICAERUS Academy’. The course aims to cultivate a foundational skill set related to developing business ideas for drone technologies. The Open University BBC Partnership

The OU and the BBC have been in partnership for many years, co-producing a range of TV programmes, radio and interactive content. Academics play a pivotal role in helping to co-produce the programmes by providing the latest research, making the content accessible to a much wider audience.

Here are two exciting TV series co-produced with the BBC with assistance from our Faculty of Social Science academic Dr Vicky Johnson: Cornwall: The Fishing Life with assistance from the Faculty of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics academics in co-prooducing: Our Coast.
