Biography

Dimitri Kennedy is a full-time PhD student within the department of Strategy and Marketing at the Open University Business School. He holds a master’s with distinction in Financial Services management from the University of Salford, Manchester and a BSc in Accounting and finance with First Class honours from the Oxford Brookes University. He has also obtained postgraduate qualifications in Professional Accountancy and Higher education management and leadership.

Prior to joining the Open University Dimitri worked as a senior auditor and has amassed experiences in a wide range of areas including public, retail, and the financial services sectors. In his spare time Dimitri enjoys running, cooking, and sightseeing.

Dimitri’s broad research interests straddles service, digital and strategic marketing in addition to marketisation in education.

Current Research

Servicescape as a value creation tool: Evidence from the United Kingdom.

Dimitri’s research seeks to explore how servicescapes create, maintain, or destroy customer value within a digital/post-covid landscape.
