Maggie Miller

Maggie is a global business technology leader and CIO with over 30 years of experience in major global organisations including Warner Music Group, Dell, Sainsbury’s, Unilever, Lloyds of London and NatWest Bank. She has applied the knowledge and experience gained at large capital companies to consulting assignments with public and private-sector firms in the US and the UK and to the digital transformation of a major non-profit.

She has been an exceptional ambassador for the OU and OUBS for over a decade through her commitment to the International Advisory Board, most recently as its Chair.

Based in both the US and the UK, Maggie has supported Executive Deans and senior teams and the wider OU by sharing her professional experience and her OU knowledge as an MBA alumna. She is proactive in seeking to further the mission of the OU through an inspired, engaged and active Board that aims to advise through collective experience, expertise and diversity.

Maggie has further increased her support and commitment to the OU by becoming a Practice Tutor on the Senior Leadership Apprenticeship.

Having left full-time education at 18, the OU MBA gave me the knowledge and confidence to build my career in multinational organisations in the UK and the US. I owe the OU a huge debt of gratitude for my success. Receiving this award makes me even more grateful to the incredible staff and academics of this organisation that I’m so proud to be associated with.
