I have been an Associate Lecturer with the Open University since 2019 and I currently teach a number of undergraduate modules in the Faculty of Business and Law (B100, B207, B302) and a postgraduate module in Faculty of STEM (T849).
My professional background is in the Consumer Goods Industry where I have worked for a global multinational company (Procter and Gamble) in various Research and Development roles in the UK, Belgium and Italy, most recently as a Director at the Newcastle Innovation Centre. My roles have included product & process innovation, graduate coaching, training and recruitment, project management, and organisation strategy development and deployment. The most rewarding part of my work without a doubt has been helping others grow and develop. Education-wise, I have a PhD and a Bachelors Degree in Chemical Engineering and I am no stranger to distance learning study myself having previously studied for an MBA with the Open University (an experience I thoroughly enjoyed).
At a personal level I enjoy photography, hiking and have recently taken up playing golf (still pretty hopeless at it to be honest !)
