Dermot Kelly

Since September 2021, I have been a tutor on B302 Strategic Management. My first career was in hotel management and then thirty years ago I made a career change to lecturing on higher education business and management courses in a range of universities in England.

I enjoy supporting students in my tutor group and am always amazed at the commitment and self-discipline they demonstrate towards succeeding in their studies.

An interesting fact about me is that in my leisure time I enjoy singing and playing musical instruments. I am a multi-instrumentalist and play the piano accordion, tin whistle, mouth organ and the bodhran, a hand-held frame drum played as a percussive accompaniment to Irish music.
