Andy had virtually no useful qualifications at all when he started studying with OUBS in 2002..... Eight years later, with an MBA, an MSc (HR) and a PGCE he became an Associate Lecturer for B301 (Making Sense of Strategy), and has since tutored across a number of modules, including strategy, entrepreneurship, leadership, change management and HR. He currently tutors B302 Business Strategy, B327 Creating futures: sustainable enterprise and innovation, B870 Managing in a changing world, B875 MBA project: leaders of change, and B812 Creating evidence-based value in people management.

Following a career in policing Andy is now a full-time tutor, but also an assessor for Investors in People, and continues to freelance a little in HR support, project evaluation, management training and strategic planning. This allows Andy to stay in touch with contemporary issues and bring real-life examples into tutoring.

In his varied career, tutoring for Open University Business School is easily the most rewarding thing he has ever done.
