The Open University Business School (OUBS) has been successfully delivering flexible and accessible high-quality business and management education to thousands of individuals and organisations in the UK and around the world since 1983.
As the external business environment becomes more volatile and technology driven, all business schools must display a bias to action. The importance of creating, evidencing and communicating the impact of our research is critical. Linking our thought leadership coming from that research through to action in our curriculum, the lives of our students and the business community we serve is vitally important.
Co-creating value and leading the development of a new business education model makes real our commitment to be ‘open to people, places, methods and ideas’. This comes through partnering with the business community, industry leaders, professional bodies and membership organisations. These include the Institute of Directors (IoD), Confederation of British Industry (CBI), Federation of Small Businesses (FSB) and others. Being inclusive in thought and action acts as a stimulus for innovation and responsiveness and will help us position ourselves as the leading business school in the UK.
We are proud to be part of an elite and exclusive group (1% worldwide) of triple accredited business schools thanks to our teaching (pedagogy), innovation and research. Our students can study at home, at work or on the move and we design, structure and teach our courses so that the learning can be applied in their workplace straight away.
Our students and alumni receive the knowledge and skills they need to transform their careers – and their lives. They are well respected for their determination, dedication, resilience and commitment. I hope you feel inspired to find out more about OUBS and how we can help achieve your work and personal goals.
