I currently teach Law, Management Accounting and Strategy Accounting and I began my career as a Chartered Accountant before transitioning into higher education. I have gained extensive experience working for various private institutions, delivering professional accountancy qualifications, before moving into the university sector.
Prior to my role at NTU, I lectured at BPP University, where I worked closely with the big 4 accounting firms, teaching students preparing for professional accountancy exams across the ICAEW, ACCA, ICAS, CIMA, and AAT qualifications. I have over 20 years of teaching and examining experience, and have also contributed to several professional accounting bodies in the development, writing, and assessment of exams.
I enjoy teaching at the OU for a variety of reasons, but primarily because of the people—the staff and the students. It’s a wonderfully supportive environment that is inclusive, enthusiastic, and adventurous in its collective pursuits.
I love anything to do with dogs! I have two labradors, and love walking and training them.
