At the OU, I teach Economics and Finance across a number of modules.

I started teaching at the OU after spending almost 20 years in financial services, working in fixed income and commodities trading as well as economics research.

My passion for teaching economics goes way back to the early 2000s, when I taught several undergraduate economics courses at Oxford University.

What I love about teaching at the OU is the widely varied backgrounds of students – from first-year undergraduates to highly experienced professionals – who are keen to learn about economics. What is especially rewarding for me is being able to bring some of my practical experience of financial markets into discussions with students.
