The OU in Wales and Introbiz present seminar on business legitimacy

Earlier this summer The Open University in Wales and Introbiz delivered a free seminar for businesses in South Wales on ‘Business Legitimacy – staying on the “right” side of public opinion and how to avoid controversy.’

Guest speakers included Dr Björn Claes, Senior Lecturer in Operations Management at The Open University Business School, who used his expertise and knowledge to present the theoretical side of business legitimacy. Dr Claes was joined by Cathy Bryant, Senior Associate from Blake Morgan, who discussed the practical application of some of the current legitimacy challenges facing businesses and particular about “Google Tax”.

This highly interactive and thought provoking seminar helped to answer complex questions and give examples on how to navigate a business through challenges during times of adversity and when business legitimacy is being questioned.
