Centre for Policing Research and Learning Annual Report 2022

We are pleased to announce the Annual Report 2022 for the Centre for Policing Research and Learning (CPRL) at The Open University.

CPRL is a partnership of 80+ academics working collaboratively with 24 UK police agencies. This report provides many illustrations of the programme, the activities, outputs and achievements over 2022. We hope you will find it interesting and inspiring.

The collaboration has a lively and ambitious programme of problem-solving research projects, education and CPD programmes, and knowledge into practice to improve policing for the good of society. The report gives some examples of our work and impact in each area during 2022.

Many of the activities and outputs of the Centre are free to use by any police agency or police individual, open educational resources to support CPD, while the 24 police agency partners collaboratively design, shape and participate in the whole programme of work.
