Student Hub Live: Get well prepared for your final assessment

Imagine you are running a steeplechase and you have leapt over numerous hurdles along the way. You hear the bell and it’s the last lap, so a few more hurdles and you are finished, you’ve done it all before so what’s the difference?

The difference is that that last lap needs extra effort, that’s where the competition will come, that’s where you really need to demonstrate your perseverance and skill. That last lap is your end of module assessment.

It’s not the same as the laps you’ve already been round, it is more important, it carries more weight, and you need to be prepared for it. That’s what this session is about, helping you get ready for the final lap of your module and making sure that all the work you put into it is worth it.
