Biography

Kay Logan is a PhD researcher with an interest in ethical leadership from the perspective of leadership that exists in relationships.  Her research is to be conducted with a national children’s charity and she is interested in tracking participants from a leadership development programme into their natural work environments, with an interest in how ethical leadership reveals itself in those relationships. Her academic supervisors are Dr Owain Smolovic-Jones and Professor Richard Holti. Prior to commencing her studentship with the OU, she was a senior lecturer for the University of Birmingham on the NHS Leadership Academy’s Elizabeth Garrett Anderson Programme, which awards participants an MSc in Healthcare Leadership.  She has also been an Associate Lecturer for the OU on the Mary Seacole Programme, also part of the NHS Leadership Academy’s leadership programmes.
