The OU Business School are very excited to be hosting this year’s Leadership for Public and Social Value International Conference this week on 6 – 7 April 2017.

The aim of the Public and Political Leadership (PUPOL) international academic network is to contribute to solutions and help societies and their leaders address such challenges through research and scholarship focusing on the role of leaders and leadership in the public and political domains.

This year’s event will examine what leadership achieves for society, or segments of society and how it is a critical element of understanding political and public leadership. Public and social value is important to conceptualise and understand because we live in a period of profound, fast and simultaneous changes in the economic, social, political, ecological, technological and organisational systems.

We will be joined by over 90 people from more than 20 countries across the world.

Should you wish to find out more, please contact Alessandro Sancino, Lecturer in Management at The Open University Business School.
