This is an event of the International Common Good HRM Network in collaboration with the CGHRM Research Cluster of the Open University, where we will discuss Common Good from the perspective of HR Practitioners.
We are excited to announce that Dr Jason Palframan and Dr Susanne Rank will be joining us for the next Easy Talk CG event in February, whose research insights into CGHRM and its practical applications.
We will explore the intersection of Common Good HRM (CGHRM) and workplace spirituality and values. We aim to introduce a framework that integrates CGHRM practices with dimensions of workplace spirituality and contemplative practice, offering practical and values-based interventions for sustainable HRM outputs. As an example, we will delve into recruitment and selection, emphasising purpose and values-based recruitment practices such as fostering compassion and gratitude.

Dr Jason Palframan is a lecturer and researcher in the Department of Business and Management Studies at the Technological University of the Shannon (TUS), Athlone, Ireland. Jason is also an Associate Lecturer in the School of Psychology and Counselling at the Open University, UK.
Dr Susanne Rank is Professor for HRM and Change Management at the School of Business at the University of Applied Sciences Mainz, Germany. Before joining the university, she worked at SAP SE as HRD manager and Change Management lead in international projects. Further she still consults and coaches HR and change projects in companies.
