Pankaj is a lifelong nomad having spent most of his life studying, working, travelling and living in multiple continents. He holds a Master's in Commerce from the University of Mumbai and an MBA from Warwick Business School. His early career started with PWC in Mumbai for 3 years where he completed his Articleship training and qualified as a Chartered Accountant. Thereafter he worked in Dubai for KPMG for 5 years as an Audit Manager before moving to FedEx Dubai as a Senior Finance Analyst and Manager Financial Controller responsible for the Middle East, Indian Sub-Continent and Africa. After 12 years in Dubai, he transferred to FedEx Europe in Belgium where he held numerous positions including Managing Director for Accounting & Controls Europe. Following a career of 25 years at FedEx, Pankaj made a career pivot to education and started teaching the Accounting and Finance and International Management modules under the BSc program of Middlesex University at UBI Business School in Brussels.
Pankaj holds a Certified Public Accountant license to practise accounting in the United States, is a Quality Driven Management Expert from the American Society for Quality, is Carbon Literate and recently acquired his Fellowship at the Higher Education Academy.
His passion for lifelong learning culminated in a fully funded PhD studentship from the Open University to explore challenges in sustainability accounting and reporting.
