Biography

Keith is a part-time research student at The Open University while working full-time as the Senior Public Affairs Manager for the Open University in Scotland. He has over twenty-years experience of working in the third sector, serving as a school governor, as well as on the former Scottish Higher Education Funding Council and as a local councillor.

Keith holds a BA Community Education from the University of Strathclyde, a postgraduate diploma in Education and Training from the University of Surrey and a master’s in education with Edgehill University. He developed a strong interest in research while completing his Chartered Institute for Public Affairs Diploma in Public Affairs.

Current Research

Keith’s research explores ‘The impact of public affairs engagement in Stage 3 of the Social Security (Scotland) Act 2018’.
