Biography

Sam has been awarded a fully funded studentship and is based within The Department of People and Organisations.

Current Research

Working through the pandemic: The importance of place’ seeks to understand the lived experience of this highly uncertain time, with a particular focus on emotion and gender.

The longitudinal nature of the research aims to provide an insight into the evolving experience through the lens of both workers and senior management and their journey navigating the pandemic in the early days, through to the eventual ‘new normal’ way of hybrid working, which will be adopted by so many organisations.
