Biography

Ankith’s research focuses on incorporating sustainability and resilience into the supply chain performance measurement system. The research specifically looks at the trade-offs and synergies between the various measures of resilience and sustainability from a supply chain context using discrete event simulation. For this purpose Ankith is using SIMUL8 software package (https://www.simul8.com/) using a license that is supported under their PhD scheme.

Ankith secured a master’s degree with distinction from the University of Hertfordshire. He is also a Certified Associate of Project Management from the Project Management Institute.

Prior to pursuing a full-time PhD program at the Open University, he worked at the University of Hertfordshire as a Visiting Lecturer tutoring undergraduate courses on modules such as Lean Manufacturing, Operations Research, Reliability Engineering and Project Management. Ankith has also worked with organisations such as DHL Supply Chain UK, Rapid Electronics Colchester and Elite International India.
