Professor Leslie Budd

Professor Leslie Budd is Professor of Regional Economy at The Open University Business School and director of the research cluster: Space exploration analysis and research (SPEAR). He is also an economist internationally known for his work on regional and urban economics in the context of global issues, the digital economy and the socioeconomic impacts of BREXIT. Leslie is currently Visiting Professor at the Centre for Brexit Studies, Birmingham City University and formerly Special Economic Advisor to the Committee for Enterprise, Trade and Investment at the Northern Ireland Assembly.

Dr Dimitris P. Sotiropoulos

Dr Dimitris P. Sotiropoulos is a Senior Lecturer in Finance at The Open University Business School and director of the research cluster: History and Political Economy of Business and Finance (HYPE). Prior to that he worked as lecturer and researcher in academic institutions in the United Kingdom, Germany, and Greece. His research covers different topics in the political economy of capitalism, history of financial innovation, and history of economic though.
