Join us at our Festive Networking event in London to kick-off Christmas 2019. With a need for something to take our mind off the serious stuff every now and again, what better than a big celebration in this year of massive change, with old barriers demolished and new ones being built and fought over?
Most celebrations such as christenings, birthdays and religious ceremonies are based on culture, race, religion and gender, which exclude some areas of society. Could you have a celebration that transcends all the above, is more inclusive and is fit for the modern world? Is this even possible, and what could it look like?
In The Open University's own 50th anniversary year, join your fellow Business School alumni to workshop the possibilities of a new all-inclusive celebration. Using creative thinking methods with Associate Lecturer Laurence Knell, co-creator of the Sustainable Creative Management (BB842) module, we will work together to design a new celebration - with a prize for the best idea. You are sure to take away creativity and innovative tools that will help you in the workplace and don't worry, there will be plenty of opportunity for networking!
