In order to improve the public's understanding of finance, The Open University Business School, in co-operation with MoneySavingExpert, Legal & General, True Potential LLP and the Chartered Accountants' Livery Company Charity, has produced five interactive and freely accessible courses. All these courses will help you understand financial products and help you manage all aspects of your personal finances.

Managing My Money for Young Adults

The Centre has produced a personal financial management course designed for young people aged from 14 years upwards. This course covers everything young adults need to know to get started on the exciting financial journey that lies ahead for them. It offers practical tips on what young people need to start doing now to manage their finances and how they need to plan their finances as they progress on their chosen path beyond school or college. This course has been kindly funded by the Chartered Accountants’ Livery Company Charity.

MoneySavingExpert's Academy of Money

We joined forces with MoneySavingExpert (MSE) to produce this new free course to give people the skills and knowledge to master their finances. The course was written by The OU, with MSE providing support and guidance. Packed with videos, audios, quizzes and activities, the course covers all the key aspects of personal finance in six sessions of study that each take around two hours to complete.

Retirement Planning Made Easy

Planning retirement is probably the most important aspect of financial planning. Making the right decisions and building a sound financial plan can help to ensure that people have the quality of life in retirement that they aspire to. This free course on money and retirement planning has been produced by The Open University in collaboration with Legal & General.
