Daniele is Lecturer in Finance at The Open University Business School. He has a BSc (Hons) and MSc (Hons) from the University of Pavia (Italy). He is currently in his last year of PhD programme at the University of Greenwich (Viva in October 2016).
He has been co-investigator for the project titled “An investment and equality-led sustainable growth programme for Europe” funded by FEPS (January-February 2016) and for the project titled “Financialization and Investment in Developed and Developing countries” funded by UNCTAD (March- June 2016).
Daniele’s current research interests are focused on the process of financialization of economic systems, the 'shadow banking sector', applied econometrics, the history of economic thought, and economic history.
