Critical thinking is a key academic skill and involves evaluating different kinds of data and articulating how well they support an argument or are fit for purpose. The benefits of developing your critical thinking and writing skills include being able to show why you have referenced something and demonstrating a robust level of understanding.

Student Hub Live will explain what tutors look out for as indicators of critical thinking, as well as obvious examples that this is not being done.

This session will be held online twice - from 12 to 1pm and from 7 to 8pm

Four hundred tickets (with a limit of one per person) are available on a ‘first come, first served’ basis through Eventbrite. Subscribe at Student Hub Live if you would like to be notified about regisration and upcoming events.

Important notice: This session is very tightly structured, starting promptly and finishing on time, with a strict programme of presentations and group activities. Please log in 15 minutes before the start, so that you can test your equipment and familiarise yourself with the online room.
