The Association of Open University Graduates (AOUG) Foundation for Education Research Awards will be held at 12 noon, Friday 6th October, at The Open University, Walton Hall, Milton Keynes.
This will be followed at 2pm by the AOUG Foundation Lecture: “The Socio-cultural Impact of Globalisation & English in Saudi Arabia: A Narrative Enquiry” to be given by Tamsin Waterkeyn, AOUG 2016 Ted Castle Bursary winner.
The cost of the event is £10 for full or part day including a buffet lunch. Admission is by ticket or invitation only.

Tamsin hopes to take you on an adventure into Narrative Enquiry, discovering both the challenges and rewards of conducting research in unfamiliar settings.
The AOUG is an international organisation benefiting graduates of The Open University (OU). It is an independent organisation endorsed by the University. AOUG members are passionate about the OU and their study experience and want to share that passion with like-minded people whilst showing their gratitude to the OU by supporting it. More than just a club or society, although the strong regional structure provides that fellowship by organising academic and social events. For more information, please visit the website.
